The Everyman QB started for a pretty simple reason, I like writing about football.
I’m Adam, a British NFL fan who has spent far too many years watching games, reading about them, arguing about them and generally thinking about football when I should probably be doing something else.
This isn’t a breaking news site and I’m not particularly interested in producing another set of weekly power rankings. The idea is to write about the things that catch my attention each week. Whether that’s a player, a scheme, a coaching decision, a statistic or just something I can’t quite stop thinking about after watching a game.
You’ll find The First Down before the weekend’s games and The Tuesday Notebook looking back at what happened, alongside longer pieces whenever there’s something worth digging into.
I’m also joined by Tom, a friend and fellow football obsessive who will occasionally be writing about whatever has caught his attention — which, knowing Tom, will probably involve offensive linemen more often than is strictly necessary.
We’re British, we’re doing this because we enjoy it, and we’re not pretending to have all the answers.
It’s just football for the everyman.
